alternative school wanted in southern vermont anyone?

We live in Danby Vermont and are searching for like minded families that are wanting more than the public school system for their children. We would love to find others who want a more child-led, nature based, hands on learning community. We have gone as far as building a beautiful one room school house that is state approved - now we want to find others that want such a community for their families.  Though home schooling has been rewarding - our nine year old daughter wants her consistent tribe to learn and grow with. We as parents want this tribe as well to share the expansion of the children in a way that we cannot do alone. Anyone interested in more please post here and also email me at [e-mail].

Hi! Good for you! I want to do the SAME thing, but we are in south burlington!  Too far, huh?  Ugh...it is a frustrating process, as I am also frustrated with the schooling options...both public and private.  I really want to start more of a nature-based alternative school too. Where is Danby exactly?
