The Blossoming, Twitterpated, Spring Is In the Air~ONE THREAD March 20-26 - Page 6

Everyone talking about vaginal temping: If this cycle is a bust I will do this next month. Too many variables with oral temping now: Warm, the fan, the AC, my cat jumping on me, etc.

bubblema: I could swear someone from this thread used the Instead cups. Maybe it was on another thread, I'll see if I can find it. But recently, one of the BFPs got hers the first cycle she used the Instead Cups and someone else had been using them a few months with no success. So it definitely can't hurt!

AFM: I'm feeling kind of bummed, like I might be out. I feel exhausted ever since I got home and I'm having mild cramps. I'm only 8DPO so that's probably too early for pregnancy symptoms but just in time for PMS symptoms (AF would be due 6-7 days from today). I always read implantation cramps are over quickly, not lasting for a long time. Blah.

BubbleMa...   I have used the Instead Cup many times, in fact I used it with yesterdays second donor. I know some women who swear they are responsible for their pregnancies!

I never get pre-AF cramps. Ever. I got cramps 8DPO and tested +++. And I cramped for... Ohhh... 3 weeks. That's long lasting if you asked me. Good luck!!!

Well, my ONLY off day this week got crashed by having to be here at 11pm last night and I have to work until 11am this morning. I'm just happy that I only have like 2 hours left before my relief gets here...but i'm mad that my saturday afternoon will be wasted by sleeping!!! Plus i'm not going to end up temping today because it's SOOOOO off from my normal timing that it's pointless.

I just really pray that it keeps raining her in North Alabama because i NEED to get some good rest and nothing makes me sleep like a baby more than hearing rain on my tin roof!!! I just hope DH will watch little bit so i can get some rest!

I hope that this is a very reproductive week for you ladies!!!!  I'm soooooooooooooo ready for September to get here lol...and I really hope that all of you are just checking in to see how the "new" people are doing by then while enjoying your time in a DDC!!!!!!

brichole: Yikes, I hope you enjoy your rest. I love when it rains when I'm not planning to go anywhere.

I have a blood pact (okay not really) with two other ladies in the TTC in Our 20's thread to test on Tuesday so I think I will pee on a smiley OPK just to see. Thanks!

AF showed yesterday. BUT, while I was a little disappointed, I already felt I wasn't pregnant so it was just a kind of "well, bummer" moment.

There is a HUGE positive to this negative, though. I am officially back to NORMAL CYCLES after birth control! It was exactly a 28 day cycle. I have not had one since I started BCPs 6 years ago (they REALLY screwed me up!!), and I am SO freaking happy! I am now considerably less stressed about my age, because honestly I was a little concerned that it wasn't just BCPs, but maybe early menopause. SO, I am going to assume, for now, that I am completely normal and ready to go, until something tells me otherwise.

On another note, I received my CBFM from eBay today!!!!! I can't wait to use it! Does anyone know if we are supposed to still temp while using the monitor? I hope not. LOL Mine are so screwed up because of my sleep patterns!!!

Despite not being PG, I am in a really happy place right now. I know a lot more than when I started this a few weeks ago, I'm better prepared, I'm back to normal, and I have the tools I need to make this baby!!!

Congrats on your normal cycles!  That's half the battle.  :)  What is a CBFM?

I ended up getting some Mucinex today, I've had a cough for weeks now and today I coughed so hard it made me throw up.  :(  I decided enough is enough and got some Mucinex (after trying Chestal and some other homeopathic/natural treatments).  I made sure to get the stuff with guaifenesin only.  Might as well do double duty.  :)  Let's hope it works in both ways.  :)

Shelley71: Sorry about AF. Your positive outlook cheered me up though! I'm glad you're back to normal cycles, I know that's a big relief for you if you were worrying about other issues. That clears up a lot! I'll move you to Waiting to O :-)

I don't know much about the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor....how does it work? I use the Clearblue Digital Smiley Face OPKs.

BubbleMa: YES! A pee pact! I'm cracking up.

BubbleMa...   Don't forget to frink tons of water, and I hope the Mucinex relieves the clogging at both ends! LOL I use the generic form sold at dollar stores, not for EWCM, but for my lungs.

AAM...   Absolutely no sperm yesterday. I contacted every. single. donor.

Luckily ovulation seems to be delayed, and Spicy showed up today. So, I don't feel quite so desperate. I think my OPK was positive today, but it's pretty hard to tell, it's so light. I did have much more EWCM than usual today, hopefully that's a good sign!

Everybody think Fertile Thoughts!

BubbleMa: It's the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. It is supposed to give you 6 fertile days every month to BD and I've heard really GREAT things about it from other users.

Gemmine: OH YEAH...please move me, thanks!!!

Stevi: Good luck on today's deposit!!! ;-)

Stevi: It seems like your egg is hanging out waiting for the best possible time! I wish my eggs listened to me like that.

Nicole: I meant I will pee on an OPK on Tuesday! I must save The Precious (the 1 preg test I have left).

Shelley: Moving!

hahaha "the precious", that's hilarious!
