My DS has been getting a rash on his arms at night and I think it might be our polyester blanket. I've also been seeing red lines (not like tomato red but still irritated) around his legs and belly, especially right in front. If it is really a polyester allergy... what can I do?!Â

My DS isn't allergic exactly to polyester, but it doesn't suit him either - he gets something akin to a heat rash on his belly, and red marks around his legs.

We use a combination of different systems. Definitely prefolds/fitteds with wool would work for you. We also use Bummi Originals (Bummi Swimmis work as well; they're the same thing with a cotton cover) and I am going to try Bummi Whisper pants. Both are nylon. The Original does a great job and no redness at all.
