Not vaccinating is the moral equivalent to driving your kids around without their seat belts on.

How on earth do you people know more than scientists and doctors who dedicate their lives to minimizing the threat of disease?  It is really simple, you don't.  Some anecdotal about about little Johnny not getting the flu this year is just that, anecdotal.  You've probably been lead down this path by some proper looking pseudoscience.

Please rethink this!  Your non-scientific beliefs are threatening your children's lives.

Late to this conversation…..

I have one slightly vaxxed child in public school, one unvaxxed in public school, and one unvaxxed who is homeschooled.

I am in Ontario.  All I did to enroll them was tick off a box saying they were unvaxxed due to "religious or sincerely held beliefs".  Easy-peasy.

Some places (here!)  do some vaccines at school.  I would recommend keeping your child home that day or going to school with your child - every year someone comes on MDC saying their child was "accidentally vaccinated"    at school.

Can I inquire about some of your ladies medical or science degrees/qualifications?  You all seem to know a lot more then the current scientific field who dedicate their professional life to bacteriology, virology and immunology.

So I haven't read this thread but feel like replying due to the topic... I am a pre-nursing student waiting for my acceptance letters for this fall and my oldest child is in pre-school this year (I am hoping she can repeat preschool again in the fall because I think it's a much better environment for expansion of her mind than elementary school but that's for another fourm). We are in CA and all we had to do was sign the back of a green form that the director of the preschool gave us. She even said here is the medical record form you can take it to the doctor to sign off on her vax history or you can choose to be exemt by signing the back! I guess in rural northern CA non-vaxing is a common thing because her daycare near Seattle had quite a few forms (some requiring the Dr's sig) in order to be exempt!

Why thank you for asking! I have taken two courses in microbiology, four in anatomy and physiology, too many general bio and chemistry course and only one in biochemistry. This summer I plan on taking a  course in pathophysiology and in the fall I will be starting nursing school to become a registered nurse. I appreciate your respect for my allopathic education. But people like you make me want to say F*** it and take the additional year of organic chemistry and calculus needed to become a Naturopathic doctor. ;)
