How to clean wool soakers after yeast infection?

I think my ds has/had a yeast thing going on his upper thigh - right where the diaper ends so I'm not sure if it's yeast. Maybe just irritation. Anyhow, the area doesn't get covered by the diaper which I could wash in 95 °C and get really clean if it is yeast. That region was covered by his wool soaker though and I can't wash that in anything but cold water. How do you get rid of yeast in wool soakers/covers????

Bonus points for any suggestions on how to get soakers looking really clean would be nice, too. My soakers are starting to look dingy since ds started crawling.

I don't know much about washing wool, so please remember that when you read this advice!

When DS and I had thrush I soaked all my delicates (bras and nursing camis) and breastpads in vinegar (I think it was a cup of vinegar/1 Litre of water) before washing them. The yeast didn't come back.

I also used tea tree oil in the wash with his diaps and inserts, and I think that helped too - but I use pockets for him.
