What is the single best article about keeping baby intact?

My sister in law is expecting a boy.  What is the one best link I can send her on the subject of circumcision?  They are mainstream parents.  Their daughter was never at the breast for one second, slept on a separate floor of the house from the beginning, cries it out, etc.  But I have hope that they might listen if the information was presented in a good (not attacking, not hysterical) way.  Help me protect my nephew!!

You might want to contact Mothering Magazine and ask if they have any copies of an article from their magazine that was called "Protecting Your Intact Son".  This article was wonderful when I read it and it also explained why keeping a baby boy intact was the best thing for him.  It also wasn't written in a lot of medical-like terms and stuff like that.

There is also a book on Amazon.com that is titled "Say No to Circumcision" that you might want to see if you can buy used and mail it to your relative.

I'm sorry your sister in law is like what you described above.  Maybe you can get some of the back issues of Mothering that are in the store part of the website and send them to her.  Who knows?  It might change her mind about how she parents.  I ordered some of the back issues when my sister was pregnant, and she loved some of the advice in them.

Hope this helpswave.gif

this is a great site too (it gives you multiple choice questions without being obviously anti circ, but I think the only way you end up with a thumbs up on the procedure is if you are an Orthodox Jew... and even then it lists several caveats):
