solid wood furniture - alternative to community playthings?

Hi all,

I'm looking for (all or almost all) solid wood furniture comparable in quality to Community Playthings - I love their products but currently am looking for stuff for older kids.

I've been looking at some unfinished options as well - great prices but haven't been too impressed with what I've seen so far.

What would be some other good companies to look at, finished or unfinished?  Thanks!

I think you'll have a hard time finding furniture to equal community playthings. It is built to LAST because it is for preschools and daycares. I think you would have to go vintage for that quality of wood.

Have you looked at Room and Board?

Nice looking, thanks.  Hm, no showroom nearby though ... will look at craigslist for used one ...
