Community Home page connection

When I come to Mothering.com, the first thing I want to do is see if there are any new posts in my subscribed threads. I wish I didn't have to scroll so far down to get there. I'd love to see that feature moved closer to the top of the page.

Thanks! I love this place and get tons out of it of so many levels.

Hi WaturMama - thanks for the kind words! love.gif

Where are you scrolling to for your subscriptions link? Can you screenshot it for me?

I took the screen shots, but I don't when I clicked the paperclip, I got a message that I don't have permissions to create attachments. How else can I get them to you?

I am using Firefox 3.6.15 on a Mac, btw.

Click the little picture button to the left of the paper clip.

Thanks Cynthia--that works!

Here's what I saw last night when I first got to the community home page:

community home.tiff

Here's what I saw after 1 scroll down:

after 1 scroll bar click.tiff

Here's what I saw after the 2nd scroll (or some of it because I was feeling a bit private about showing all my subscribed threads). This is when I have reached my desired destination. I'd like not to have to scroll down at all, or at least be able to get there in one click.

Also, note that on a typical visit to Mothering.com, I go through that routine 2-3 times, checking different subscribed threads.

The layout of the Community page is not something we can custom adjust for a user. All of our featured content resides above the current activity.

But you can simply click on Subscriptions and go to your subscriptions page:

Thanks, I never noticed that Subscriptions link. That helps! Thanks.
