Also, out of morbid curiousity, I tried pumping today...just to see what would happen....and....eeewww...

There is a lot more colostrum in there than I gave credit for...and now my nipple is sore :(

I haven't bought a pump yet, but now I'm curious too!

My latest problem is that I keep waking up with my tongue stuck to my teeth.  I literally have to peel it off.  I don't really get it - I am drinking so much water that I pee like a racehorse all night long, but somehow my mouth is still dehydrated.  :(

I have had dry mouth like a bitch for the past month or so, it does not matter how much I drink and I go to bed with a 1 liter water bottle!!

It sucks!

I alternate between dry mouth nights and drool all over everything nights..

Try it with lansinoh next time! (or some other nip cream.)

I don't have any terribly weird symptoms that I haven't experienced before with previous pregnancies.
The only thing that seems different is that...well...wiping my bum has become somewhat of an olympic sport.

We have two bathrooms, and one bathroom isn't even large enough for me to bend over to the full extreme that I need to in order to reach!! (my head would hit the linen closet door.) It's pathetic. By the time i'm finished, i'm huffing and puffing. It's a miracle it doesn't break my water.
And no, I can't reach around back either. I'm a short person, with short arms. good greif. How sad is that?
I wasn't this big (or something was way different in the way I carried) with the first two. And they were pretty big boys. I'm worried.

Me too!  Plus I've had nosebleeds for the past two nights.  Luckily they've happened while I'm rolling over and, thus, awake enough to realize. irked.gif

My gums have been bleeding like crazy. Like gross, scary-looking bleeding when I brush my teeth. It's awful.

nicolian - I had gum bleeding with ds & again earlier this pregnancy. Going & getting a cleaning made a BIG difference for me. Although perhaps it is too late for that now.

I don't really understand why I need to extend my reach a full 18 inches? What am I missing?? Lol!

Nicole, my gums bleed and I floss daily, etc. It's just all that extra blood we've got that is aching to make itself known. Oh, and I wouldn't recommend a dentist appointment at this point, since you won't be able to breathe when they recline you!

I have my regular cleaning scheduled for sometime in November. It's not every day that it was like that but the other day, man, it was nasty!!

Nicole, for bleeding gums my midwife said to eat the white part of an orange. that really helped reduce the amount of bleeding I had from my gums.

A salt water gargle has helped my gums a bit.

I'm sick, I've been coughing nonstop and also very very thirsty.  It is a cruel combo in terms of the urinary control.  I was soaking in the bathtub today and started hacking...and had to run a fresh bath.  I felt so dignified.

First of all, Katico, how on earth did you ever find that commercial to begin with?  Not that I can reach either.  My morning calisthenics is wiping my butt, especially since my favorite gift of this pregnancy is insane diarrhea (oh well, it's a TMI thread, right?).  Every time my MW asks what exercise I am getting, I'm tempted to describe my contortions, but it's easier to fib and say yoga.

And I, now 5 freaking days overdue, have a yeast infection.  WTF.  And my MW says don't put anything up there because it's too close to delivery.  So I am taking diflucan, which IF it works takes DAYS!!!  Days?!?!?  I want this kid out YESTERDAY!

Oh. my. goodness.  livacreature, your post didn't come up until I'd already submitted mine.  That is spectacular.  I have coughed until I peed quite a lot this pregnancy, but never in the tub.  It conjures up all sorts of nightmares about poop in the birthing tub for me.  I'm so sorry!!

I feel ashamed that a little bit of pee in the bath water does not faze me...

Pee isn't dirty. I learned that with ds innocent.gif
