Grinding pelvic bones and splinting/bracing

Hi all,
I think my pelvic bones are grinding together. Has any of you used a pregnacy belt or an SI belt during pregnancy?
I'm not realldy for chiropractoring or bodywork yet. I don't have the finances for it for one thing.
I'm only in my 4th month. I'm afraid of what might happen in later months and then afterward. I could take the pain last night and had a big breakdown. I'm emotionally better this am, and I'm getting some kind of belt today.

You could try getting this book:  http://www.amazon.com/Relieving-Pelvic-During-After-Pregnancy/dp/0897934806/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1300882766&sr=8-1

It's been really helpful for me, but I never got to the point of feeling 'grinding' or anything like that.  hug.gif

Update: I'm feeling much better. I'm actually a bodyworker (PT, crainosacral, visceral manipulation therapist,) and figured out how to adjust myself. I was too loose in one area because I was stuck in another. Its amazing pregnacy brain, I actually forgot i could and have treated pelvic instability. I'll be getting my pregnancy belt on Monday anyway to experiment with it on long walks.
Btw there are some great u-tube videos for self-adjustment for pelvic instability.
