book suggestion for moving on after bad relationships?

this may not be the correct forum - i wasn't sure where to put it.

i'm looking for a book suggestion or two for how to move past being "roadkill."  i'm trying to get a very toxic person out of my life and establish some firm legal boundaries (he's dad to my two boys) so that i don't have to be a part of the day to day manipulation, etc.

this book helped me immensely after a terrible break up

http://www.amazon.com/Its-Called-Breakup-Because-Broken/dp/0767921852

the title really says it all "it's called a break up because it's broken"

it's not very sophisticated, and a bit silly at times, but it really helped me.

i needed a book that would give me answers to all the crazy what ifs.

this book is not about legal stuff, or really about the other person. it is about moving on within yourself, and getting your thoughts and feelings to move on.

I don't know specifics of your relationship but there is a book about verbal abuse by pamela evans I think is so great.
