I know that you should have at least 5 hours of sleep before you temp, but beyond that, does it matter how much? Ever since daylight savings, I've been hovering right around the 5 hour mark with my temp taking time. Two nights ago though, I fell asleep with my daughter when I was cuddling her to sleep and got around 8 before taking my temp. Yesterday morning my temp jumped up by 5 degrees and thought I might be ovulating, but today it was back down by 6 degrees (after getting about 5.5 hours of sleep first). I'm new to charting, so I don't know how different things effect my temp yet. I was just wondering if it effects anyone else?

BTW, I can't really change my temp time. I temp at the time that I get up when I have school three days a week. My main thing would be getting into the habit of going to bed earlier, but I've had problems with that because on the days I don't have school I take my temp and then go back to sleep. Probably not the healthiest habits ever. :-P
