Have all the March mommas had their babies already?? - Page 2

I'm still pregnant! But my due date is today, so I wasn't expecting a baby yet. My first kid was pretty late. Getting lots of crampy contractions at nighttime, but less during the day.

Neuro: I'm so excited for you!

!!!!! I wonder if you've had your baby!! This was a busy month!

And thanks for the ELVs.  Wish they'd worked.  ;)

I'm still hanging about and pregnant!  Due date they originally gave me is March 29th, which is this Tuesday, and the one I have stood by the entire time.  The due date based on sonogram sizing was the 19th, and I already proved them wrong on that.  I still haven't dropped, but Alistair has been VERY active the last week and a half, and I can feel when he is trying to position himself into my pelvis, but no contractions, no loss of mucus plug, nothing.  My doctor wants to start talking inducing if I haven't delivered by Wednesday (my next appointment) - but I have other plans to do with a prenatal massage and foot reflexology at the spa at my local mall.  :-)  More natural.  I won't be induced.

Oh, I'm not even going to tell my ob!  I talked to the prenatal masseuse today to find out more, and I like what I hear!  Also, got a bit of info on helping baby to DROP.  Something that is one of those tall tales, but has nothing to back it up, but the stories have been going around for years.  I don't remember the word I'm looking for...Anyways - that "story" is hanging bells at your waist or ankles - that something apparently to do with the sound of the bells will help drop baby deeper into the pelvis.  :-D

that sounds like a really cool wives tale! i think my baby has dropped, but there's still little activity. i am thinking i'll go over 41 weeks at least. my first child dropped weeks before i was induced. for me, it translates into constant peeing, heartburn, and annoying cervical sensations. lol i almost wish he'd stayed up!

I took Zantac before bed as a preventive measure for heartburn, since I've been getting it every night - unfortunately, 20 minutes later, I still had some pretty good heartburn.  I'm sure pepperoni pizza, and snagging the peppercini didn't help me any - lol.  So, I'm just chugging along.  And it felt GREAT to sleep in till 9am this morning.

ugh. i'm in the same boat. i can't stop eating heart burn producing foods! yesterday i had a frickin' chilidog!!!! i'm sure i'll have something else today that will just make things worse. i'd get it no matter what i eat, but somethings are just more painful than others.
