April Meal Plans

Is it ok if I start this?  I've never done a whole month at a time before so I am pretty excited!  We are dairy, corn, soy, egg, nut, peanut and gluten-free right now and DD1 is on the GAPS diet so I am trying to get more organized.  Here are our dinners, veggies may change if something else is on sale/looks great.


1-Orange chicken, broccoli

2-Eggs (DH only), Turkey sausage, fruit and hash browns (DH and I only)

3-popcorn chicken, salad

4-Beef and mushroom "stroganoff" over mashed cauliflower

5-chicken soup

6-turkey-apple burgers, carrot "fries"

7-Chicken Salad

8- Lamb taco bowls

9-Eggs (DH only), Turkey sausage, fruit and hash browns (DH and I only)

10- Coconut chicken with pineapple, green beans

11-Acorn squash stuffed with turkey sauage (Trying out cauliflower "rice", we'll see!)

12-Chicken soup

13-Chili, salad

14- Mustard-apple chicken, swiss chard

15-green chili pork, veg?

16-Eggs (DH only), Turkey sausage, fruit and hash browns (DH and I only)

17- Coconut Chicken Curry

18-Asian turkey lettuce wraps

19- Chicken soup

20- Burgers, salad, carrot "fries"

21- Apricot chicken, green beans

22-"breaded" fish, squash chips

23-Eggs (DH only), Turkey sausage, fruit and hash browns (DH and I only)

24-Easter, not sure yet

25- Sesame Chicken, broccoli

26- Mexican turkey burgers, salad

27- chicken soup

28- Beef taco bowl

29- lemony fish, salad

30- Eggs (DH only), Turkey sausage, fruit and hash browns (DH and I only)

17-prime rib, parmesean green beans, rice



20-dinner at my grandma's

21-fish and chips

22-sausages and fried potatoes

23-finger steaks, fries, veggie

24-pasta, bread, salad


26-eggs, toast, fruit

27-soup, sandwiches

It's about time that I got my plan finalized!  We are cutting back (though not eliminating entirely, yet) on white flours and pastas so it really challenged me this month to come up with our plan.  It isn't impossible, I just needed to readjust my thinking a little.  Here is our April:

Now that I'm looking at it, it is looking really ambitious, lol.  I have a huge backlog of recipes from previous months to post, but as I find time to do it for this month they will be posted here. 


I think when I plan next month I'm going to have to peruse some of our previous threads to get some inspiration for more wheat-free ideas.  I'm so use to pasta or bread finishing or tying the meal together that I got stumped when I tried to avoid them.
