I know that it will all work out and my children will be fine, but I feel helpless and it seems to take so much energy to keep going.

Ex was put of state and only visited every three or four months. He moved back and now (after over 2 years) I am dealing with visitation of our two kids 2.5 and 16 months. It is eating me up inside. He agrees to take visits slowly, but I AP and cosleep and cant imagine them sleeping away. I stay at home and they have never been sway from me.

I imagine they will do better than I will do, but it is lousy. He just wants 30% custody, but that gives an ulcer.

Just needed to get some of this out. Thank you!

It will work out. If he gets the kids overnight and it goes badly, then he may never want to do that again. Good luck. *huggggs*

It will probably be worse for you than the kids.  It is so hard to let them go, even for a night.  I AP and cosleep also, and my little one (2 yrs) now spends 2 nights a week with her dad.  And he's taking her on vacation for 8 days in May...

It's hard, but it will get easier.  He might realize it's too much work and not want to do it again or postpone it for a while, or they'll work out a routine that will make it ok for everyone involved.
