Perment Tooth Started Coming In Behind, Now Baby Fell Out. Do I Need To Do Anything???

Daughter is almost 5 and her permanent tooth started coming in behind her baby tooth (her bottom right front).  Today she was using her teeth to open the toothpaste and the baby fell out.  Is there anything I need to do to make sure the tooth moves forward?

Also, she has some black flecks on her molars, are these cavities or something else?  Should I do anything?

Thanks!!  I am a little nervous, and not home to go to a dentist.  Plus I really value the opinions here, especially from a wap prospective.

Hm. I was just coming here to ask if dd's tooth will fall out if the new one is coming in behind it. So I guess it's possible it will. When I was little I had one or 2 extracted by a dentist for that reason, they told my parents the tooth wouldn't fall out and it "had" to be removed.

They didn't do anything about the position of the big teeth until they were all in, in fact, it was in my teens when I had braces.

I don't know about the black specks, maybe they are little cavities. 2 of my kids had baby teeth that finally came out after the big teeth had grown in and they moved forward quickly by themselves. No orthodontal work needed for my oldest child who is a teenager and it remains to be seen for DD (5) but I don't think so because they look perfect.
