Birthing ball material,

HI all random question, not so much looking for a birthing ball for the labor and delivery process but I thought that it might be helpful to sit on when a little one wants to be bounced but my legs/back needs a break.... I used to have a plasticy exercise ball previously, but I remember it smelling kind of shower curtain like (PVC?). Does anyone know a good brand, or what it is made out of?

I was poking around on Amazon for one for my self, mostly for something to sit on that would poss be better for my back. I was thinking of getting the Natural Fitness brand to try, mostly because it is supposed to be non-toxic and they have an eco-friendly program to plant trees. Then I found a friend that wanted to get rid of hers, so I never bought it. Sorry I don't have more info.
