Is anyone else having itchy, sore, irritated skin or am I crazy?

Im 12 weeks and for the past few days my skin around my tummy and back has been irritated in an itchy kind of sore way and Im not sure if its pregnancy related or what I can do about it.

Any advice?

could it possibly be PUPPS?

a friend of mine recently had it - which is why its on my mind!  She drank nettle tea for about two months and it finally cleared up.    It could certainly also just be dry winter skin - starting to itch because its starting to stretch.

I have an issue with this for this pregnancy and my last complete with the weird kind of paper thin burning pain feeling...I didnt have pupps or help (did I get that one right?)..or any of that..what I do tend to have is some weird thyroid issues....

anyway, it cleared up for me last time about a month after my daughter was born

what really helped me out though was washing with cetaphil, soaking in warm not hot baths with baking soda and liberally applying cerave moisturizer when Im still damp and using a cortisone oitment for any places Ive itched raw..nothing herbal and nothing for lovely raw oils helped me at all...shame too as thats my preferred route for most things

I'm not pregnant but live in a place where winter lasts for 6 months and boy is the air dry! I keep a bottle of rosehip seed oil in the shower (even though its supposed to be refrigerated but thats another story lol.gif). Anyway I like to have something that is easily applied ALL over before getting out of the shower. Then when I am dried off sometimes I need to moisturize with regular lotion on top of that. Coco butter is a dream for stretch marks!

the only thing that has worked for me is eucerin calming cream, and it's worked wonders. my skin is now awesome, but it was itchy and bleedy before.
