Here's a little blankie I made (can't remember if I ever posted a picture of it? I made it before we even started TTC.... lol)

And here's a little hat I made today, just for fun :)

Good idea making hats, Steph. I have done that before (just winging it) and it's a great way to get the hat you actually want.

I'm attempting to teach myself how to knit for this one.  if there's any hope, i will be done a blankie by the time baby girl arrives :)

Other than painting and decorating I have not handmade too much, but we found out Thursday that we are having a boy so I have been on a role :
 

First thing we did when we got out of the OB's was head to Hobby lobby and pick up letters :D

I had already crocheted this before we knew the gender but I added the ribbon and bow yesterday.

And then this is a tree made from fabric that I cornstarched to the wall, we rent so I cannot paint and this was a great alternative although I need to get the rest of the leaves up.

I'm jealous! Right now our nursery is just our "throw in everything we don't need at this moment" room. LOL! There's just stuff everywhere, with barely any room to walk. We are going to order the new floor for the bedrooms (bamboo floor) soon, but the nursery will be the last room to be done (ds's room is first, then the master bedroom, then the nursery) so it'll still be at least a month or two before I can start on the nursery. Boo.

Just saw this! The blankie I just winged it. For the hat I used this pattern. I think I'm going to play around with the pattern to make the hat a little bigger though since ds had such a big head. LOL!

DS had the day off school today, but dh took him to work for a couple hours this afternoon so I had some time to run some errands and then play around and sew a little burp cloth (There are still some pins in one area because I need to sew all the way around the outside once I get ahold of a sewing machine.... I did all the rest by hand).

Thats what the nursery was before we found out we were expecting...I kind of went CRAZY with the decorating in the first few weeks and then hit a slump...now Im on it again and almost done...we are doing a woodland/nature theme.

Aw thanks!

I do ok  lol, I hit a really big slump creativity wise until recently so its nice to get back into it.

I plan on making a custom hospital gown,car seat cover and a shopping cart cover in the next few weeks :D

Out of curiosity I peeled a few leaves off the other day and you can not even tell that I did anything, no residue or color bleeding although I would recommend pre-washing the fabric.

The tree trunk was tricky because its so big so I tacked it to the wall and worked my way from top to bottom and just smoothed it out as I went.
