What to expect Post Tubal?

Thread Starter

I am doing the search for a doctor for the Adiana procedure, and beginning to wonder about the effects on my cycles.  I know every body and every woman is different, but I'm really curious how others did with cycles and pms type symptoms after any kind of tubal ligation. If you are willing to share, I'd like to know your good or bad experiences.

Thanks,

From what I understand, Adiana itself will not affect your cycle in the long run, although you may have some bleeding in the weeks following the procedure.  If you currently take some type of hormonal BC, going off that might mess with your cycle a while.

I had Adiana done about a month ago.  I have been taking BCP all my adult life and had irregular periods during my teenage years.  Of course, I am still on BCP waiting on the procedure to take effect, but I have had about 3 weeks worth of light breakthrough bleeding, which is a normal side affect of them going up in there and messing around w your cervix and stuff.

I'm a little anxious to see how my period regulates after I got off the BCP.

So...I guess I can't really answer your question, but unless you are currently on hormonal BC, Adiana shouldn't affect your cycle or symptoms, but going off of hormonal BC WILL have an affect.
