Nobody volunteered, so welcome to the new ONE THREAD! There's a whoooole lot of you Waiting to O which means we will have a HUGE Waiting to Know group soon...come on Spring BFPs!

AFM: My temp is dropping (earlier than it ever has) so I really don't know what the heck is going on. Going to try to listen to Stevi and ignore the temps post-O. TRY. Sheepish.gif

How is everyone doing?

Gemmine...   Thank you for the new thread. I wish it were obedient eggs that caused the delay. We'll probably never know. LOL

AAM...   EWCM is still here, but seems to be turning milky, and I finally got a positive OPK this morning! So, Ovulation either already occured, or is happening soon. Hopefully I can get another BD in today. Spicy has mentioned coiming again today, but due to his history of not showing, I'm checking other options. :)

Hi! I just logged on for the first time in a week... I'm at my new house!! We've been unpacking and organizing like crazy. We got the cleaning and painting done at the old house on Friday afternoon, and it's a good thing because SO got called out to the island for the week! I hope to have a lot done by the time he gets back. I've already been out in the garden and SO has built shelves for the closet, fixed the railing in the stairwell, rewired the phone/internet lines because they weren't working.... it's been insane. I O'ed somewhere during the move, while my thermometer was buried in a box. We didn't have control of the heat at the old house, and the woman upstairs kept it stifling, so I doubt my chart would be accurate this month anyway, with the big change in room temps. I hope everyone is doing okay!!! It's good to be back :)

Mummoth...   Woohoo!! I hope you settle in quickly, and enjoy the new digs!

Stevi: Hope you can round off this fertile period with another donor today! Looking forward to moving you to Waiting to Know soon!

Mummoth: YAY! Settle in, nest, and enjoy!

Can I jump in here?   DH works far from home, so our opportunities are few, but the stars seem to have lined up and he made it home for the first time in nearly a year *just* in time to make this cycle a possibility.

Luckily, the long-distance marriage thing will soon be over and we can actually see each other on a daily basis and live in the same home again.  We were planning to wait for that to TTC, but we simply decided to take a 'let's see' approach since the timing  just happened to line up through a series of strange coincidences.  We already have three kids, and have come to a point where we are pretty sure that even #4 probably won't be the last.  Ack.  Did I just admit that?  I come from a 'two kids is the right number' sort of family, DH is one of six.

I'm excited and hopeful. :)

Waiting for AF to dissipate, hopefully it will be soon! af.gif

Congrats on the new house, Mummoth!

May I be added? I'm not sure where though, but perhaps WTF is Going on? would be appropriate. DH and I just started TTC last month. I had been having a 31 day cycle for the past 4 months, and I had been a 35 day cycle for the 6 month previous to that. I'm also still frequently nursing my 23 month old DS. Well, I'm currently CD 42, and I had a negative beta on Friday CD 39. So, who knows WTF is going on? I'm hoping AF arrives soon or even better that I get a BFP. Looking forward to joining the TTC journey with you all. Hoping it's short and sweet for all of us.

Welcome insidevoice and Odinsmommy!

AFM - I'm now in Vancouver. I saw most of my extended family yesterday because it was my cousin's wedding. It was a very baby intensive day. My cousin was there with her 5-month-old, my SIL and I discussed our TTC difficulties, and 2 of my aunts just had to show me pics of their brand spanking new grandsons (2 of my cousins gave birth in February). Because of all this the whole day I was like "I NEED ALCOHOL" haha... but it was a dry wedding so no help to be had there, and the bar upstairs from the reception wouldn't give me any because I forgot my ID... I am so not used to getting ID'd anymore because in Montreal they are way more relaxed about selling alcohol!

Everyone is wishing me happy birthday because my birthday is this Saturday but it totally depresses me! I will be turning 29 and my goal in life for as long as I remember has been to have kids before I'm 30! The clock is ticking! I really gotta make the next 3 cycles count!

insidevoice: Under what section would you like to be added? Welcome, by the way! That's exciting you and your DH will be together all the time soon!

WildDoula: We must shun AF! Shunnnn! Shun the non-believer! (I watch too much Charlie the Unicorn)

OdinsMommy: Welcome! I shall add you after this post! Hope you get your answer (preferably BFP soon).

Sourire: Glad to hear you're doing ok and sorry you couldn't booze it up! Take care and get home safely! I'm waiting to hear from MommyMatsumoto on her trip too!

Thanks for the new thread Gemmime-- Stick it out til Tuesday, you will be glad you did2whistle.gif

flowersforyou.gif Welcome insidevoice and odinsmommy- I hope your stay here is short, but you will love this group!

Mummoth- Welcome back and congrats on the house, hopefully the distractions will make that little swimmer meet his/her match.

Sourire- Doesn't it figure you can't get the good stuff when you really need it? I just looked at my chart and I haven't had a drink since AF, now I'm heading to the 2ww so I'm hoping it will be next January before I have another one! Also, even my mom talks excitedly about other people being pregnant, way to rub it in, right? Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY- You never know, if you conceive this cycle baby could come early and still give you a November birthday.

AFM- I'm all out of OPKs, but my temp was still down today & cervix is HSO but CM was creamy (TMI?), so I convinced DH to DTD again this morning to get our bases covered. I figure I wasn't 100% on a December baby anyway, and if it doesn't work than I won't be as unrealistically hopefully about April being it for us, and can settle in to this being a longer process than we expected. It would be wonderful if that is not the case though! I'm really hoping my temp spikes tomorrow & I can start the 2ww.

cbaa: I'm holding on! Bless your husband and his stamina! I think I might have foamed at the mouth if I ran out of OPK's before I was sure of O so I tip my hat to you! Looking forward to putting you in Waiting to Know!

Thanks for the new thread! :)

Welcome OdinsMommy and insidevoice!

AFM, my BBT thermometer still hasn't showed up in the mail. As a result, I don't really trust the temps in my chart. Pretty sure the thermometer I'm using is whacked out. If this cycle is anything like last cycle though, I still have 30 days ahead of me until either AF or a BFP shows up. I'm on CD14 today, and was supposed to be attending a sort of pre-specialist appointment with one of the nurses tomorrow to go over my cycles, etc but I can't now because I GOT A JOB!

DH and I moved from the city to a more remote area because he got accepted into the uni here. The downside is that the job market is limited and people don't like to hire unless you're a local. Things finally went my way though! (Funnily enough my new employers are also Americans living in Aus...looks like my "locals only" theory still holds true haha). Now I'm in awe all of you, because I didn't realise how much work can put a dent in TTC plans. I already had to cancel that appointment for tomorrow, and it's only going to be my second day of work. How do you juggle all of the OB/RE appointments, follow-up tests, etc with your work??

Thanks for the new thread! <3

Hmm- I suppose the best place is waiting to O, though I'll be at the 2ww within a few days.

It's going to be a long two weeks!  I'm excited.  DH has sacrificed a lot to make really positive changes for our  family, and it's all finally paying off, we've all missed him a great deal- especially our older son who is very much a Daddy's Boy.

I'd not been temping yet as we thought there were a few more months to get that all set, so I'm playing catchup by temping now in conjunction with CP and CF.  Just waiting for the temp rise.  EWCM + high/open/soft position for the past three days...

tantylynn: Congratulations on your new job!!

sleepingbeauty: Hi there!

insidevoice: Waiting to O it is! Just let me know when you O and I'll move you down to Waiting to Know. Do you chart with fertilityfriend?

cbaa2010...   I say your ovulating today. I think I did/am as well. We seem to be on twin cycles this time! Cool!

Tantylynn...   Congratulations on the job!!!! Honestly I don't work, I'm in school and that's easier to schedule around. I've had some scheduling problems when I work with the Foster kids, so I understand how you feel.

Thanks for the new thread, Gemmine! (I've been hanging out for several months in WTF is Going On, but I'm not there in this new thread.) Welcome insidevoice and OdinsMommy!

I looked everywhere for the thread I mentioned about temping vaginally in the previous thread but I can't find it! Sorry.

Sourire, I totally get what you're saying about the timeline thing. For some reason it feels crushing to me, the possibility of not having a 2011 baby when I felt sure I would have a 2010 baby. Lots of good thoughts! Three is a good number!

So, I am on my third + opk. Yesterday my cervical position was super high, today it feels low again, and lots less cm since the first +, so hopefully that is a good thing. Today my temp was definitely up, but DH lets me sleep in on Sundays so maybe it's nothing to get excited about. I never thought I would be hoping for a - opk after all these months of nothing, but if I get a 4th one, maybe my body is not sorting itself out. Ugh.

I forgot my AAM...   Spicy showed up today as promised! And I rounded out this cycle with Second (that's a new donor, the nicname is a private joke). So, I had double coverage today. I'm expecting a temp rise in the morning, though my temping this cycle is pretty screwed up. I'm also expecting to wake up tomorrow to thick Creamy CM, which is a definite sign of ovulation being over. I plan to start the Natural Progesterone Cream again in a day or so.

This cycle I pulled out all of the stops...

Soy Isoflavones

OPKs

Temping

Instead Cups

Preseed

and soon the Progesterone Cream

I'm hoping if I keep things ramped up, I will finally be successful!

Everybody have a Reproductive Week!!
