normal to find placenta on fetoscope?

I'm 32 weeks, found the placenta (when looking for the heartbeat, which I found then lost, then clearly heard the distinct swishing sound the placenta makes when listening on a fetoscope), a few inches below my navel on the left hand side.  Isn't that in the wrong place??

I guess it would be in the wrong place if thats not where your placenta is lol.  A placenta can be anywhere, top to bottom, side to side.  Mine is covering the whole front of my belly.  Mine is frequently right up front, with #7 it was off to the right hand side.  And if it is anywhere near the front yes you can hear it with a fetoscope and even outline it by hearing the difference.

That's about where my placenta is now. The baby stays on the right side for that reason.
