Hi everyone.

I just found out Friday that I have elevated anticardiolipin antibody IgM after some follow-up bloodwork.  I have one DS born 7/07 after a worry-free pregnancy. Since then I have had three first trimester miscarriages, two after proof of heartbeat was established.  Of course, I now think I know why.  I'm going into speak with my OB next week about this and options for a successful pregnancy and I am so new to this I don't even know what questions I should ask.

If anyone has had an experience similar to mine or information on APS/ ACA IgM and successful pregnancies I'd love to hear it.  I've read lots of pages here and it's hard to know what applies to me and what doesn't so I was looking for someone with previous similar history and positive experience with a pregnancy.

I'm glad to have an answer as to why I miscarried, overjoyed at the fact that I have one perfect son when the odds were so stacked against me, and hopeful that with treatment he may one day hold a baby brother or sister in his arms.

Thanks for any time you might have.

Anna
