Update on DD with possible AS/ SPD/ ADHD

Hello ladies.

I made a post recently with this title: Could you please tell me your thoughts? WARNING:LONG . In this post I describe my 5 year old daughters troublesome symptoms.

I had made her an appointment with her Ped. for tomorrow, in hope of him refering me to a Child Pys. or child neuro. BUT, friday i found out that my medicaid was canceled for some odd reason and i have to go through the long process of applying again. I have an appoinment to do that Tuesday at 2:30. Ugh.

So, my medicaid should be processed and ready to use by Friday- so I can make an appointment for her next week and go from there. I see many appoinments in our future.

Its makes it so much harder to wait when her symptoms seem to be getting worse. Today was a bad day for her..and that means a bad day for us too.

On top of tornados and severe thunderstoms  (     )  , I had to deal with DD screaming about everything, hurting her little bro ( a few times) and then getting mad and hurting herself ( she likes to pinch her legs or chock herself with her hands.)  Oh boy..its been a long day. They are both in bed now..lets see how long that last.

I will update again when I have made her an appointment with the CN or CP ..or both.

Ouch! Sounds like you could need a hug!  I really hope your medicaid gets fixed very soon, and that you will get the help you need for your girl.

I believe that you can submit appointments for reimbursement that occur some time prior to medicaid approval.
