birth circle for teens with substance abuse and mental health issues

Hello! I currently volunteer at a treatment facility for pregnant and parenting teens with a variety of issues ranging from substance abuse to mental health conditions. I have noticed that these girls really seem passionate and excited to talk about their birth experiences and am wanting to start a birth circle there. I am currently looking for ideas that I could incorporate into the process along with telling the stories. Some of the ideas I have are exploring their births through art and writing. However I am not extremely talented in the arts. Any other ideas or thoughts?

Have you checked out the book "Birthing from Within"? It is primarily geared toward pregnancy, but you could probably get some good ideas from there.

yes, great advice! birthing from within has some great ideas and has been my only resource thus far. thanks for responding and any other ideas are appreciated!
