Best newborn fold

Thread Starter

I'm new to using cloth on a newborn, I just fold into thirds and put it into a cover for my older son.  But given that newborn poop is super runny, I'm planning on actually folding it and using a snappi.  While browsing around I learned about the "jelly roll" fold, and it seems to me like it would be the best at containing newborn poop.  Any opinions?

yeah i'd recommend that! its been working for us. folding in thirds and just popping it in the cover would result in a lot of cover washing!

I really like the angel wing fold http://diaperpages.com/angel_fold.php I've used it since DD was born (she's 16 months) and it's been great.

We also have used this fold since birth and we love it. We use a snappi, though.
