Quick smegma question

Today when my son was diaperless and peed I noticed some white stuff when his foreskin "opened" a bit. That's smegma right? I had to fight the urge to pull it back to check again (I fought it, no worries)  I'm not sure if that's what I saw or if I imagined it...but I wanted to check with some smart mamas! (With WAY more experience as this is my first intact son)

Sounds like it might have been from what you described. I saw similar from time to time when ds was still in diapers.

Now, how will I know the difference between yeast and smegma?

With yeast you will see redness, swelling and pain. Usually when yeast is present you will see the sores on the scrotum as well as the penis.
