For those who are/were nursing while pregnant...

...if your milk supply diminished or started to lessen, about when during your pregnancy did it do so? I don't know yet if I'm PG, but it seems like my let-down is not "letting down" as much as it was just days ago. Just curious! TIA! :)

I weaned at 12 weeks pregnant (I just hated it) but I didn't seem to have any supply issues. Unfortunately redface.gif I had this fantasy that my supply would drop and he'd lose interest.

My milk supply tanked even before my BFP.  It was just about completely gone by about 3 months, but DD1 continued to nurse.  I tried all the supplements and nothing worked for me.

I also noticed that I had a lower supply between ovulation and AF.  I didn't have an ovulatory cycle until DD was 15 months and we caught the second PP egg.

I did have cycles starting at 13 months but not ovulation.

Hmm, so again this is one of those things that just varies with woman to woman. DD has been nursing more frequently the past day or so, but I can't tell if it's because she's not getting enough milk, or because she's teething. Every time she nurses (especially today) I'm noticing that when I'm supposed to have a let-down, it barely feels like it's doing anything, whereas even just a week or less ago when I had a let-down it was enough that I would leak from the opposite breast. She is wanting to nurse almost every hour or so right now though.. so I suppose that could be why let-down isn't as much?

Yep...totally varies. And it also depends on the child, if they will nurse without milk or not. I lost my milk in all of my pregnancies at 4 months. And my kids nursed right through it all without milk. Not having milk wasn't a deterrent at all. They told me the milk was gone, but they didn't care :)

Well, I'm not pregnant. Maya was teething, which is why she was nursing so much, which is why my milk production seemed to be decreasing. She was just sucking me dry!! Ah well.
