Bad cravings... - Page 2

I've been craving Cadbury Creme Eggs, pizza, and fried chicken, haha!

There are certain things you can do to reduce your risks. If I wanted a sandwich I'd just heat it to steaming. For the things I can't reduce risk on I just don't eat...having a healthy baby is well worth going without soft cheese (or whatever) IMO.

The latest MUST HAVE NOW- weird food cravings:"

enchilladas/iced herbal mint tea with honey and raspberry syrup/minestrone soup with about 10 spoonfuls of chedder cheese.

Those were scarily specific out of nowhere cravings that overtook my mind- and as I type this I'm feeling the need for chicken tikki marsala thought I am at work and the nearest indian food restaurant is 30 minutes away.... Problematic.

The main thing though is the sheer amount of time I am starving, It's like I eat every hour and am suddenly Ravenous as though I havent eaten for days twenty minutes after last eating

I'm so with you on this. I'm eating like I'm starving every hour or two, which is almost constantly...and that includes the middle of the night. I'm waking up at 2 in the morning and eating cereal and a dill pickle (that was last night). There was a day last week (I think it was last week) where I ate an entire can of Chef Boyardee mini ravioli. That is so disgusting...I probably have not had anything like that since I was in middle school, and we never have processed stuff like that at home...but I ate the whole thing. And you know what? Aside from that weird, kind of metallic can taste, it was pretty good.

Just got a mega craving for chocolate ice cream with gummi bears and fritos.  The gummi bear and chocolate ice cream is nothing new...the fritos...why didn't I think of it before?

wow, I am surprised how hungry you gals are already... I am just starting to get my appetite back and my desire to cook.

But I do understand the feeling when I get hungry and want something, I want it NOW!

(I did get those apples and caramel btw, they were deelish!)

Another craving I had the other day was Chik-fil-a's fresh squeezed lemonade-- I got a large and downed the thing.. it was scary.

Oh my god- FRITO PIE- Now I need to have it.

It's so weird how the cravings come along with the puking- I've been sick every night for the past 3 days, every morning- and I just threw up at work. And yet- I still am now going to obsess over frito pie.

Yesterday my craving was mangopeach smoothie, oh my god so amazing

Frito Pie is a very particular taste! I hope you can find some...I don't even know where we'd get that around here. :-)

Agh! Cravings I cannot give in to. I have a bad reaction to dairy and all I want lately is a pb and (hide) cheeze whiz sandwich. I also cannot eat wheat. I have in the past and every child born has been intolerant of wheat for a year after birth - it gets into my milk and they get colicly. Cravings be gone!!!

That said, I do eat deli meat and vegetarian sushi.

I've heard that deli meat (and hot dogs, etc) are safe as long as they're cooked through.  So for ham, supposedly microwaving for 2 minutes kills everything.

Actually, I doubt that there's any particular dairy in Cheeze Whiz!

For the past few day all I have wanted to eat at night is ramen.  I ate pretty healthy throughout the day but then when it was dinner time I didn't feel like cooking or even making a sandwich so I have been having ramen.  So bad.  Ramen is so bad.  I guess it's better than all the chocolate (and I normally don't like chocolate) I ate at the beginning of my pregnancy.

Oh dear, last weekend I finally gave into the ramen craving I'd had for a few weeks.  I didn't have any ramen in the house and I hadn't eaten any in several years, but I went out and got some and had a pack for breakfast and a pack for lunch, and then that afternoon when I just felt sick and horrible from having no nutrition all day my DH cut up an orange for me and said "No more ramen!".  Yeah, mmmmmm ramen.  So delicious and salty and carby.

AFM - I normally don't drink much, but now when we go to a restaurant I want a drink so bad. I think it's just because I can't have one!

Last night, I shared a bag of Cheetos with my husband.  And I think I ate more than he did.

Then I felt really sick this morning for the first time in quite a few days.  Guess I learned my lesson!  I've been very good today thumb.gif

Another day, another jar of pickles.

I made Green Bean Casserole tonight for dinner. I had very few onions to put on top when the time came.
