Outdoor Clothesline

Thinking of trying to use our dryer less as the weather gets nicer. But we live across the street from a gravel pit! We have a huge issue in the house with the windows open with dirt and dust.  Anybody live close to a farm or gravel pit and hang out your laundry? Will it just get more dirty?

I wanted to recommend some indoor racks.  I just got one for $3.

Also for outside maybe the weekends would be a good time if the gravel pit is closed then. We have one,but it is far enough away to not be an issue. People having fires is our issue,but thankfully only a few times a month.
