I found a lump a couple of weeks ago and mentioned it at my last prenatal appointment..fully expecting to be told it was nothing
I think I only found it honestly because my house burned down and I had no bras for a few days..my boobs were starting to drive me nuts (theyre heavy anyway) but it wasn't found at my first obgyn appointment at the initial breast exam at 8 weeks and Im just shy of 30 weeks now..its easily palpable now
Â
had an ultrasound on it today and its not a cyst or a clogged duct as I suspected and the ob seemed to think it would turn out to be
its a tumor for sure, solid and not homogeneous with somewhat irregular borders....
Â
the specialist/radiologist seemed very concerned while looking it over after the ultrasound tech got her and said they would be sending the report over to the dr that ordered the test immediately so a core biopsy could be ordered..upside ..no masses seen near lymph nodes and I know that doesnt mean much but it made me feel better (pls don't shatter that perception for me)
Â
please tell me your btdt stories..
I know fibroandenomas are incredibly common during pregnancy..but this doesnt seem to be presenting that way, I need to hear both the good and bad
