Leaking fluid or just normal discharge (and it's lots!)

I'm 36 weeks and a couple weeks ago noticed more water discharge than normal - so much that I had to change my pantyliner 3-4 times a day. Saw my MW and she did the pH test to see if it was amniotic fluid and came back neg. Now I'm leaking even more - so much I have to wear a pad and feel little gushes throughout the day. Went to L&D last night and they did the same pH test, as well as test for yeast and bacterial vag - all negative. I'm a little skeptical though. Is it normal to have that much vag discharge? I feel like they missed something here. How accurate is the pH test? Of course, while I was at the hospital I never felt one of those little gushes I had been feeling. Also worried b/c I tested pos for GBS...

ph test is pretty spot on..Id be really surprised if they missed that though at the same time I'd be willing to bet its happened to someone out there somewhere, kwim?
