I know the obvious answer to my question is to just wait it out and see what my temps do over the next few days, but my curiousity with OPK's is getting the best of me so I'm here asking.
I had a definite positive OPK on CD20, then a negative that evening, then another positive on CD21. I had light ovulation pains on one of those days too, but just for a short time, not the "off-and-on-all-day-long" ones I have had with ovulation over the last 7ish years. I also had watery CM, which is generally as good as my fertile CM ever gets, and on CD21 my CP was HSO. But, no temp rise. So I figured it was one of those "gear up but it didn't work out" situations.
Then, on CD24 I had VERY obvious EWCM (again, I rarely EVER get obviously fertile CM!!). Then then next day, CD25, I had that VERY obvious EWCM again, and my temp dropped again. CP was only MMO this time around. However, I got a VERY clear positive OPK on that day. Yesterday (CD26) I was very achey with O pains, noticeable off and on all day, which is normal for me (as is feeling them on or after ovulation...I get "pang-y" feelings prior to, and "achey" feeligns after). My temp also SHOT up, so I assume that it was a confirmed ovulation.
However, today I got another extremely positive OPK??? My temp dropped slightly today but still well above where my coverline will be, and still very high for me (my pre-o and anov. PP temps are always in the mid- to low-96's). Still a little achey today but only vaguely noticeable, nothing like yesterday. Also today my CP is MFC. I am 99.9 percent sure that I ovulated on CD25, however, since I only have a small amount of experience with OPK's (and none of them like this, with dark positives after a confirmed ovualtion), that .01% has me wondering. LOL. Is it common to have such positive Opk's after ovulation?
Here is the URL to my OPK's, but first let me clarify that the top ones are obviously dried, however the +'s on CD20 (am) and CD21 were actually identical to the one on CD25.

And here is my chart, showing a very obvious (and very definite, for me, especially PP)

I'm also curious because my last cycle was most likely anovulatory (I wasn't monitoring anything) despite me having 2 occasions where I was "sure" I was ovulation, just based on my body. Also, on around CD20(?) I "mysteriously" gained 5lbs pretty much overnight (with no changes to my diet or lifestyle or digestion or anything), which is very uncommon for ME, but I had wondered if it was water retention or something else related to hormones since my body has obviuosly been putting effort into ovulating since that time. (Yes, meaning I am still holding on to those lbs so far! Blah...) But it's just got me a little fizzled thinking something is wrong with me. LOL
Oh, and FWIW, I'm tandem nursing (was nursing 3 up until recently), co-sleeping so occasionally night nursing, but I always temp at the same time, and while I know it doesn't work for everyone while PP, BF'ing, and night-waking, it's always worked well for me over the last 5 years. So don't discount my temps b/c of that.
