Explosive Child/Collaborative Problem Solving--Teaching Lagging Skills Help Needed

Hi:

I have no idea if this is the right forum, so please forgive me mods if I chose the wrong one. I debated putting this in GD, but it's not really a discipline thing.

Anyways, for those of you following Dr. Ross Greene's Collaborative Problem Solving model, I need help in finding resources for teaching better anger management, social skills, etc.

Any suggestions?

Funny, I found your post when I was googling "teaching 'lagging skills'" to find out the same thing!

Here's an interesting perspective from think:kids, which uses CPS:

I personally use a ton of different workbooks and things.  Some of them come from http://www.linguisystems.com.

I just started "Raising a Thinking Child" which focuses on problem solving skills.

Thanks Amanda. Those are both great links. I think it's interesting that they think that doing plan B is skill building enough. I know it is, but I also need to track down some more concrete skill building stuff.

Thanks Emmeline. That book was recommended to me, so I'm definitely going to have to check it out.
