Side-snapping fitteds?

DS is hate, hate, hating diaper changes now, and I'd like to work with him rather than against him.

We don't use pocket diapers very much because of his sensitivity to PUL and polyester, so I'm looking for fitteds that we could pull up, which I think means side-snapping. We are also going to work harder on EC, so I'm thinking we can likely go coverless at home. The only two I've found so far are Mother-Ease Sandies, and Babykicks, which are exhorbitantly expensive - I want to buy several so those are out of my price range.

Any other good ones people have found? Many thanks!

Muttaqins and Swaddlebees come to mind.

I thought Motherease Sandy's were lower priced than most fitteds I've seen!  If there are cheaper ones I'd love to know about them!

Have you tried changing him standing instead of lying down? The lying down is what my DS objects to.

I think the cheapest option would be Pfs w a pf belt. Ive never been able to just pull up any of DS' fitteds. If i snap them loose enough to do that, they are too loose to stay up AND poo gets everywhere.

That's what I'm trying to accomplish - change him while standing up. He's a real wriggler though. I don't think that a PF belt would last long with this dude - he's already ripping off his velcro diapers unless they're under pants - can you put the belt under pants? I've never tried one.

Sorry, orange_mommy, that was some bad writing on my part. I meant the Babykicks were expensive - Sandies are a good price IMO, and they're the way I'm leaning right now - I've looked and it doesn't look like Muttaqins are easily sourced in Canada - I'm still looking for a good deal on Swaddlebees.

I'm also mulling over whether I should move to training pants instead and use something like Imse Vimse - expensive but would last a while. We *almost* never get poop in a diaper now (after 8 months of pooping almost exclusively on the toilet, we've had two diaper poops in the last two days - just to change things up!).
