Â
I will be 10 weeks on Friday. My last two pregnancies I have had horrible, horrible m/s. With our son it started at 8 weeks, became all day sickness, and lasted most of the pregnancy bringing motion sickness along with it. I was on medication about halfway through the pregnancy so I could eat. With my daughter it started before the BFP, went away for a few weeks only to return later in pregnancy at which point I went on medication so I could function and eat.Â
Â
This time around I thought I was getting off easy because since the BFP any m/s I have felt has been on and off, nothing severe or constant for more than a day or two until earlier this week. This week rolled around and I have been morning sickness day and night. I can barely eat or drink. Riding in the car when I had to earlier this week was HELL. The remedies that worked for my on/off sickness earlier in the pregnancy are barely taking the edge off of this m/s. I see my doctor tomorrow and plan on asking him for medication. I figure if it hits a point where I can't function, I'm already having a problem eating and drinking, at least I'll have it to take.Â
Â
I understand morning sickness can peak at a certain point but can't seem find any steadfast rule so I was wondering:
-Did your m/s seem to peak? If so when?Â
-How long did your m/s last after it peaked?
Â
I'm clinging to hope that this is a "peak"-the worst of it and will only get better from here but based on my history it's probably not the case...only time will tell though.
