Please help me pick a birth center for my VBAC!

Hi there,

 

So glad I found this forum, it's nice to find a place with so many like-minded mothers! I certainly don't run in to many people who share my attachment parenting philosophies!! My name is Amy, I have one 18 month old son.... we co-sleep, breastfeed (until he decides he's ready to wean!!), eat local/organic, etc.

 

Hoping to get pregnant some time in the next 6 months and would love to try for a VBAC at a birth center. I'm about 40 minutes for Coastal Family Birth Retreat and 50 minutes from Concord Birth & Wellness Center so either is an option. Looking for your recommendations regarding the two. Also, can anyone suggest an awesome doula?

I gave birth to my second child at Coastal Family 7 months ago (my first was a hospital birth). I loved it. All my prenatal appointments were wonderful, the birth, and the after care. I felt really loved, supported and nurtured. Good luck! Try seacoastdoula.com if you decide on Coastal Family (since you'd be on the Seacoast). My wonderful doula doesn't practice anymore.
