What do I *DO* with it?
Well, as you may have noticed, it has a very strong taste, so it really doesn't work that well for a general cooking oil. I usually use it with beans: I saute some onions and lots of garlic in several tablespoons of red palm oil, then add water or chicken bone broth, some soaked pinto beans, and some tomato paste, and simmer until the beans are tender. I serve these beans with fresh tomato slices and a fried egg. They're a great breakfast.

Since red palm oil is a traditional West African food, I would look for recipes from that part of the world. That's how I got the inspiration for my one red palm oil recipe ;)
I really like the Tropical Traditions company. I've never bought the red palm oil, although I've thought about it. I have used their coconut oil for several uses besides food, and I know they do use the palm oil in some of their body care products. You can use it to make some of your own too!
