I've had a couple of crazy days with the BHs, one after a particularly miserable night of little sleep where they were getting painful and kind of ridiculous before I went to bed the next night, and then calmed down as soon as I slept, and one in the middle of not getting along well with my dh that never got too crazy, just very noticeable. Stress is definitely triggering them for me! But on more laid back and or energetic days, I still have plenty depending on movement and the baby's position and my bladder and such.
I don't remember them being quite so obvious, but I haven't worried about them since they typically go away if I just lay down for a bit - if nothing else they remind me to hydrate! Plus it's nine years after my last pg, and I really think I was just way too busy chasing my dd to pay them any mind then - I don't remember them. With dd I had a lot of back labor type BHs, but that seemed more related to hydration and of course her position.
I actually had one just typing that last paragraph! Apparently thinking about them with any focus can bring them on as well. :)
