the "nursing mother-friendly bathroom" - Page 2

Our local IKEA nursing room is attached to a bathroom. Rather, the bathroom is attached to the nursing room - it is just one bathroom instead of stalls, so it makes me feel special that we have our own bathroom :-). As I have stated elsewhere, I don't do NIP because of personal reasons as well as having a distractible babe. I wouldn't mind such a room as you describe. You should see the nursing room at my city airport. It is teeeeeny. Compared to that?

This would be my biggest issue. I'm sure a bathroom in this place gets lots of traffic.

The best set up I've seen so far is at Disney, where the is also a play area for older siblings

here, in mothering rooms, they have playpens for siblings or for putting baby in while mom washes hands or whatever. i don't mind when there's a toilet as well bc i have the worst bladder known to man and will have to pee at some point. i do think it's nicer with NO toilet though and would appreciate music in the room (often you can hear what's going on outside if it's a busy place.) i like the babies r us rooms bc they're dimly lit and have change tables with everything you need to change baby in them.
