Hi Mamas,

 

I've been making the hat on this page - http://www.prudentbaby.com/2010/04/summery-sun-hat-with-free-downloadable.html. It's a great pattern, adorable hat.

 

However, I'm wanting it to fit my baby, who will be born in mid-May.

 

I've been all over the internet but I'm unable to find any consistent info on head sizes, and I'm afraid my hat will be way too big for my kiddo to wear this summer.

 

Can anyone help me out with this? When you're making a sunhat with a strap, I'm guessing it can be pretty large and still stay on the kid's head. Anyone have an infant (say, 0-6 mo) size sunhat they could measure for me at home? What's the circumference need to be?
