Has anyone tried a green smoothie diet, where you ONLY eat greens and fruit?

If so, how did it work for you? Did you feel good? Did you feel like you were getting enough protein? Would you recommend it to others? I've read a lot of links that say its the healthiest way to eat but I'd like to hear from people who have actually done it.
