I'm so psyched! Haven't posted here much lately but I just wanted to share. My 23mo has been ECed since 2mo (part-time until about 15m). She rarely cued or signalled, but timing worked well, she's been in undies since we moved around 16m. She has misses, but not many. Anyway- in the past week or so she's giving me warnings (well, for over a year she's been telling me if she has to poo, but not much about pee until she's doing it). And then just now I was thinking, I will keep a potty in the room with her. I looked over and she was sitting there, had peed, no reminding or discussion or anything, just pulled down her pants and did it on her own. I am really looking forward to working with her on toiletting independence now :)Â
