Stringy Discharge

11 weeks pregnant & almost 2 weeks and no poo poo, I resorted to a suppository:(  It worked but now I am having a white/yellowy stringy discharge when I pee.  Related or something different all together?  I know the brown color is not a good sign, but its not brown so any thoughts?

First, I believe the discharge is unrelated to the constipation. You should discuss the discharge with your health care provider because it can be hard to tell what is going on from a distance but I will give you some guidelines. Stringy (like your fertile mucus during your cycle- stretches between your fingers) is normal during pregnancy. The yellow color is the part I am curious about. Is there any irritation? Burning? Dryness? Odor? Sometimes you will notice an odor after unprotected hetero intercourse- not a normal sex smell but fishy. That would point to a vaginal infection such as trichimonas. If there is absolutely no other symptom besides what you described it is probably fine but again I would discuss with a health care provider.

I have this stringy yellowish discharge, 9 weeks pregnant. It's not like the egg white mucus...it's like strings. Sometimes it looks greenish and i thought i saw a brownish tint, but i couldn't really tell. I was coming to post this same question. I have had it for about four days. no smell...just strings.
