Thanks all!  :)  Yesterday was dd1's 6th birthday!  And it snowed.  LOL  Ah, weather!

DS started running a fever yesterday too... and throwing up and filling diaper after diaper with nasty.  :(  It started around noon and he's still sick.  DH spent the night in street clothes so he could take ds to the hospital ER if necessary... the fever goes down to 100-101 when he can keep the meds down, but hits 104+ otherwise, and for a while he couldn't keep anything (water, breastmilk) down for more than 10 or 15 minutes.  I'm wiped out, DH is probably asleep at work, and life doesn't stop... dd1 is at preschool and while dh dropped her off I'm going to have to wrap ds's seat in towels, wrap him in bibs, and deal with the screaming/crying/body fluids to pick her up this afternoon.  Suckage.

My TM actually has a few pictures of "granny" types... I didn't know why I picked them, but maybe it's for the nurturing/granny aspect?  I haven't glued anything down (don't have paper, was going to get it today, sigh) but I was really surprised... magazines I thought would be "sure things" had /maybe/ one image or phrase while really random sources gave good stuff.  But nowhere near as much stuff as last year or even the year before.  I found a few fun pics though in the magazine "Fae"... the current issue has a cover story about a belly dance fusion style that blends tribal belly dance with fae/fairy style!  And there's a poem from SageWoman about flying, and a bunch of pics that are "winged"... some sort of theme there.  :)  And the word "journey"... it cropped up everywhere but I'm not sure what it means exactly.  lol

I had an exam for a part-time temporary job this morning. Now have to wait for the phone interview.

Hi all! Sick here. Been at home since Monday with a nasty stomach bug. Had my plant medicine class this weekend. Was very emotional and struggled to connect all weekend. Plus my teacher has three cats so my allergies/asthma were BAD!

Remember a few months back when my bff disowned me for being pagan? Well today out of the blue she started texting me to see how I was doing. It was like old times. She even said she misses me. I know I can't trust her, but I also don't feel like I can shove that olive branch back at her. Ya know?

Ye Gods, sickies all around. So far in this household we're good to go. I hope if we have to get something, it's now, and not in the 1st week in May-- that's when ds has his end of the year trip-- to the beach! For 4 days! And I'm taking off to see M the day after ds leaves. His granny-type will be picking him up and I'll come back a couple days later. Cross fingers.

Actually we're going to my mom's next week, during ds's spring break, so I hope we're good to go that week. too.

BTW, I got his granny type through Craig's  List. She's my ex roommate. I'm putting her on my TM in hopes that she'll continue to be open to watching him, until we are able to move! I did ask her permission to put a photo of her on there, and she said yes. She's sick, too, right now!

I've been pretty busy...we finally got the office cleared into a comfortable space. It was *packed* with stuff. I've been feeling a bit disconnected lately but my TM is almost done.

I guess I'd better cleanse the stones first. *sigh*

Yep, I also wrapped a bunch in wire and hung them in my kitchen window.

Feeling eh today, three days of cleaning and my moon time have hit me today. I seem to be going through pre-menopause, with more erratic cycles, hot flashes, bad cramps to really bad cramps and being tired. They started about a year ago, which was about the same time as when my Mom started going through it. I need to research some homeopathics to help deal with it. Some months I am fine, and others I am miserable and grumpy. Not the person I want to be. But, life goes on, and I need to finish up a few projects so I can work on my TM, it is so close to being done.

Hello Lovelies!  I'm back from a self-imposed exile to finish my TM!! And she's done!!  By and far a much easier process than last year :)  Missed you all greatly and happy to be back... now for a cuppa tea and sit down and catch up!!

My FIL is visiting, so the girls and I are making tollhouse cookie pie. Yummy! Off to make the crust. :)

Aeress, have you tried cramp bark? I get severe pain & that helps a lot. I just cover & steep it for 10-15 minutes. Also, have you seen the wire wrapped tree of life pendants on Etsy? I really want to try my hand at that!

I have lots of goals today. Laundry, finish making a plush squirrel for my soon to arrive niece, play outside, wash dishes...maybe even vacuum. Ever since I got my TM done I feel like the world is mine.

My crust didn't turn out very well, it was chewy. I let the girls help, maybe they over mixed it. The cookie part of it is really good, so I made another pie for today- cherry.

I am resubbing to this thread and hope to keep up and contribute! I haven't had an online forum to "chat" in for over a year now (aside from random posts here on MDC), so hoping to reconnect with similar minded people.

I have been travelling the pagan path with intention for a couple of years now and finally feel that this year is the year when I connect with others instead of walking on my solitary journey.

I'm in New Zealand and went to an autumn equinox ritual for Mabon and have even planned to go away for two separate Samhain rituals at the end of April. Totally stepping out of my comfort zone, and don't know anyone at one of the gatherings aside from a friend of a friend kind of thing. The other I loosely know a few people.

Happy Sunday Everyone!  Been busy, busy, busy here with Spring Chores for the house.  Yesterday and today was going through the boys clothes to see what we need to get for them and boxing up the rest for my sister and her boys & repairing/re-screening all the windows in the house so we can open them finally and let in the glorious spring!!  

Today is supposed to reach 81 (holy smokes!) here in WI so trying to finish these chores early and then take the boys out to a park to let them run around and soak up all the wonderful sunshine.  I've been scouting for new plants and designs for my backyard and I think I've found a couple of new flowers and shrubs I can add to it along with a nifty idea for a privacy wall between us and our neighbors.  Next weekend - the garden!!

Maia - the symphony sounds fun and I hope DS is feeling better soon!

nathansmum- Hello!  Welcome back. 

Maia- Have fun.  What a great thing to get to do.  You ARE somebody.  Somebody special.   DP and I took our kiddos to a Women's Chorus last night.  It was fun...though the kids were a little wiggly, but that's pretty normal at their age.

Today is my DD's last day being six years old.  *sniff*  She asked for a crystal for her birthday and there happens to be a gem and mineral show happening here this weekend.  So, I'm going to take her today to pick something out.  It will be interesting to see what she's drawn to. ~~~~~~My sweet daughter...born on Easter Sunday 7 years ago. 

Ooh...ktg- LOVE your Spring energy!  I think it rubbed off on me a little...gonna spruce up the house a little and get the energy flowing.

Yesterday was sunny and warm! I so loved the feel of Spring! Today is also on the warm side but the sun is hiding... Still nice to be outside.

I'm still having work to do on my TMap.

I'm totally adding a trip to France since I received an email about this this morning!
