I'm in Palmer as well...we just bought a house in January...I'm due mid-May with my 4th...moving while pregnant is a theme in my life. As to a mom's group I think there is a Mom's Club/group in Palmer, but am not 100% positive.

I don't know of any non-mainstream meetings happening in the Valley, but I know someone over on thebabywearer.com wanted to start a babywearing group out here.

Yes, MTA vs GCI sucks big time! And in the state of AK netflix streaming is not cheap since we don't have unlimited download/upload...though I heard mention that the lower 48 is slowly starting to do away with unlimited download/upload due to not making any money because of netflix.
I don't know of any homeschool coops either, though there has to be some with both IDEA and Mat Su Central out here. We homeschool and use MSCS but haven't ever joined a group or coop of any kind.
I know I'm here so infrequently...I come to Mothering and my due date club all the time and often forget about the AK chats

I'm 37 weeks and so ready to be done...(well technically I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and officially cleared for my homebirth). I'm so looking forward to being done with this pregnancy...keeping up with 3 other kids and the house and dh is getting impossible.
