This just started this week and it's making me absolutely CRAZY. Â My sweet, funny, snuggly, adorable baby will reach her hands up when she's in the carrier and claw at my face, poke her fingers into my eyes, and grab and twist my lips. Â I have no idea what to do. Â She and I are very attached and in tune with each other, and my gut tells me that it's completely developmentally "normal" curiosity, and that she just NEEDS to scratch something, and that my face is suddenly very interesting. Â But it hurts and it makes me want to scream!! Â I don't. Â I've never screamed. Â But I want to, and that's freaking me out a little. Â What do I do? Â
Â
When I gently place her arms further down in the carrier she screams. Â When I put thin mittens over her hands, she screams. Â When I carry her on my back.. you guessed it.. she screams. Â She's normally not a screamer, so I'm seeing that we're both really frustrated here. Â Any ideas??? Â Â
