BPA free plastic shot glasses?

Okay I know, let me explain.... I would love to teach my LO how to drink from an open cup but my DH gets really frustrated at how much of a mess LO makes while practicing, even if I put a very small amount in LOs normal cup, I think a shot glass would be a perfect size, but my LO likes to launch stuff, so glass isn't an option, any thoughts? I can find plastic disposable shot glasses, but I'm unaware of BPA free ones..... Thanks!

Try these:

Small enamelware cups! My son loves these! We also have the glass cups from the For Small Hands catalog- they are totally shotglasses re-advertised for kids. My son launches them all the time and they are sturdy enough that they don't break (our daycare uses the same ones!).

I don't know about plastic but we have a few stainless steel cups about 1-2oz big!

IKEA has stainless steel espresso cups (with little plates that we definitely have made good use of as well!) and the handle seems to make it easier for DS to control.

And Walmart has little stainless steel cups that I guess are meant for condiments??? They come in a 4-pack & are really small, maybe an ounce or less, we use them both for drinking and for dips (hummus, peanut butter, etc.) ETA: They are like this http://www.amazon.com/All-Purpose-Individual-Condiement-Commercial-Restaurant/dp/B000K9WTLO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301788959&sr=8-1but at Walmart they were $0.97 for 4 I think if you want something cheaper. (I hate that store but sometimes it's all we can afford!)

Oh and DS's first drinks (aside from nursing!) were water or breastmilk in shot glasses... actual shot glasses lol, we got some funny baby pics!

Dixie Cups? They're paper, but I doubt there's BPA.

We just went for the glass anyways. DS was really quick in learning how to handle it and I just kept an eye on him throwing the glass.

careful with the shot glasses. dd wasn't a thrower but our ikea glass shot glasses would break if dropped no-fail. but it could just be an ikea thing.
