What to do for the nurses?

We came home Thursday after a 7 day stay in the NICU with our DD3. The nurses took SUCH good care of our little one that I'd love to do something for them. There were mainly 4 that took care of her but there are about 8 nurses between the two nurseries. I have an OB appointment downstairs in the hospital on Thursday and I'd love to do something for them. Any ideas??

On my DD's first birthday, I took cupcakes up to the hospital with a thank you note taped to the top with pictures of her when she was born (at 27 weeks, 2 lbs 2 oz) and current pictures of her at the time.  We are now 13 months from discharge and I still send pictures of her via email to a few special nurses.  Seeing the little ones that are doing well is what a lot of our nurses told us make their day.

LOVE this idea!  They deserve so much for all their dedication.

I'm a PICU nurse, and I really love getting periodic updates and photos of the kids to see how they are doing. Also, for parents to tell us exactly what we did that made their time easier for them and their child so we can keep doing it. :-) So glad your little one was able to go home, and you had a good experience with the nurses. I love hearing that.
