My 3-year old boy has had a deep, wet cough for 8 days. His nose is congested, and I'm suspecting environmental allergy. A local natural health "expert" (not sure what exactly she is!) suggested mold allergy.Â
I'm giving him extra vit. c, a homeopathic blend (which seems to help), extra vit. d. and colloidal silver. I have some other herbal stuff and D-hist (quercetin, bromelain), but he won't take them. So anyways, the cough is not dissipating. He has a nebulizer, and quite a past history with it, but I don't want to give him albuterol.
Does anyone recommend anything I can put in the neb to soothe him, or any other suggestions to combat the cough and boost his immune system?
He has multiple food allergies, and is completely free of those, of course.
